Palin, Religion, Witchcraft and Kenya (bye bye separation of church and state)
by ShiggsCheck out the video. The pastor is supposedly an admitted witchhunter from Kenya, where they claim children are witches in order to extort money from the parents. Many of the kids end up getting killed. The video has a lot of great links to other videos telling you more about what’s going on with this. Isn’t there supposed to be separation of church and state? Is it really ok to put someone to be in office that is this deeply invested in pursuing their own agenda as opposed to serving ALL of their country’s people? To me, people who put their own religious agendas before the interests of the people of their country at large, are stating that those people are below them, that those people’s interests are not as important as theirs. This brand of false self-righteousness just makes me cringe. In my opinion only people who are not deeply invested in something that could work contrary to the people of the United States should be able to run for office. So, people who hold a large stake in a company that has interests that are contrary to those of the United States cannot run for office. Also, I would consider religious people as not qualified, as they are partial to their religion and would not serve ALL of the people of the united states. That’s not to say that they wouldn’t be able to have a religion, just that it isn’t in the forefront of their considerations.
